These days the temperature in the White House is pretty hot, but not because of the hot American sun, but because of the intense situations that are happening and still happening at the moment in the Oval Office of this historical place and political epicenter of the world.
Recently, we had a chance to take a closer look at what’s happening behind closed doors and as President Trump said: ”I wanted to show to the American people what’s really going on”. The situation was so intense and high, that the Ukrainian ambassador in the US had to hold herself in a face-palm position all the time.
However, we would add a few key points here, which can lead us to the final conclusion of what Ukraine can expect after Trump – Zelenskyy confrontation.
TRUMP: WE GAVE YOU 350 BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN AID SO FAR
Since the campaign for the Presidential Elections in 2024, Trump declared his motto to MAKE AMERICA FIRST. In the spirit of this political way, he clearly stated that the US has already provided a huge amount of military and financial aid to Ukraine with no return of the investment. Therefore, he put on the table an agreement between the US and Ukraine for explanation of rare minerals, which Ukraine has a lot of them, even though most of them are located in now Russian-occupied territories in Eastern Ukraine. With this move, Trump has shown a will to put first the interest of America, than of all others.
TRUMP TO ZELENSKYY: YOU DON’T HAVE THE CARDS IN THE MOMENT
Another critical and most important moment which happened in the Oval Office is the statement of the President Trump that the President Zelenskyy ”doesn’t have the cards in the hands” and he (the President Trump) added plus that ”You cannot win this”. Why are these two sentences important for us? Because these two sentences are the real situation of what is going on in Ukraine and how the end of the war in Ukraine will probably end.
When President Trump said that President Zelenskyy doesn’t have the cards, he wanted to stress a few things:
- Ukraine cannot survive without foreign help, especially without the US, and President Trump has run out of patience
- Ukraine doesn’t have the infrastructure to satisfy the daily, weekly, and monthly needs of ammunition, weapons, and other military equipment (such as armored vehicles, tanks, planes, etc) to effectively hold on in the battle against the Russian Army
- Ukraine lacks manpower (soldiers and other military personnel) to hold the Russians in their advance
- Ukraine struggles in producing life-essential things like food and energy, which have been regularly targeted by the Russian missiles
TRUMP: YOU GAMBLE WITH WORLD WAR 3
Maybe one of the scariest statements in the verbal confrontation between the Presidents was the President Trump’s statement that Zelenskyy is gambling with World War 3.
Ukraine is not part of NATO, therefore, Ukraine cannot use Article 5 from NATO’s Atlantic Agreement and ask to be defended directly with military force on the ground against the Russians. However, President Trump stated that if, by any chance, the US and Russia get directly in a conflict, NATO will be involved. However, also BRICS and CSTO would be probably involved too, which means that the world could enter a new apocalyptic war with billions of casualties.
One of the other interesting statements that President Trump said to Zelenskyy is that: ”If you are offered peace, take it”.
As a conclusion, and with the today’s stop of the US aid to Ukraine, which the President Trump has ordered, we can conclude that Ukraine in the end has only one option – to agree to give up from their occupied territories in the east, and to sign that it will be a military-neutral country, something like Switzerland (with possibility to join EU). Because President Trump very clearly and very loudly stated that he had enough from this war and the US is not willing to supply Ukraine in a war which cannot be won.
